The PTS EPS-2 is the next evolution of the well-known Enhanced Polymer Stock from the EP Series, engineered with PTS’s high manufacturing standards and constructed from Dupont Zytel reinforced polymer, a material widely appreciated in airsoft for its durability and strength. In this redesigned version, the overall length and size have been reduced compared to the original EPS, achieving proportions similar to a standard Crane-style stock, which improves visual balance on shorter GBB and AEG rifles. Despite the reduction in size, the usable internal cavity has been increased, making it easier to insert LiPo or Li-Ion batteries in the cheek tubes and in the vertical compartment. The EPS-2 incorporates the pull adjustment lever first introduced on the EPS-C, featuring a fixed center ridge that prevents accidental activation and unintended collapse. To extend or retract the stock, the user can apply a fist-style grip, pressing the lever side with the fingers. Removing the stock is also simplified by pressing down on the rear of the lever, avoiding the struggle with small, heavily sprung mechanisms found on other designs. The facial support area maintains the characteristic EPS curvature, designed to fit facial contours and provide improved comfort and stability. The buttpad is slightly slimmer and rubberized with EP texture for enhanced grip. The smooth sloping front end prevents the rifle from catching on slings or gear. The stock includes ambidextrous QD swivel sockets for sling attachment. The PTS EPS-2 maintains the ruggedness expected from PTS products, offering the same level of reliability as its predecessor and constructed from Dupont Zytel High Performance Reinforced Polymer, a material highly valued in airsoft for its resistance to wear and impact.
