The Tokyo Marui Mk18 Mod 1 Next-Gen AEG is an electric airsoft rifle designed to deliver a realistic, immersive, and high-performance shooting experience. Its Recoil system activates an internal counterweight with each shot, simulating bolt movement and generating noticeable recoil that enhances authenticity during gameplay. It also features an automatic cut-off system that stops firing when the magazine is empty, adding to its operational realism.
It includes an adjustable Hop-Up, a 275 mm inner barrel, and a solid 3,210 g construction, offering stability and a strong sense of durability. Tokyo Marui’s renowned Japanese build quality is evident in the fit, finish, and overall performance. The rifle’s length can be adjusted from 715 mm to 790 mm via its extendable stock, adapting easily to different play styles and environments. The metal RIS2 handguard—officially approved by Daniel Defense, a company with a history of U.S. military adoption—features mounting rails on all four sides for accessories compatible with the 20 mm standard. The handguard, stock, and front sight are finished in FDE, with an abrasion-resistant anodized coating for durability.
Multiple components are made from metal, including the handguard, outer barrel, buffer tube, flash hider (reproduced here as a bocacha), and receiver, resulting in a robust and high-quality build. Its free-float outer barrel design prevents interference from the handguard, ensuring rigidity and proper alignment during use.
The rifle includes a front sling adapter mounted on the handguard rail and a rear sling plate at the base of the stock. It also comes with foldable rail-mounted sights that can be repositioned or removed to accommodate optics and player preferences.
